I had the opportunity to drive Frank’s Volt while he was in California. It was a great experience and I found a lot of people are curious about the car. I went to dinner with R.J. King, Editor of DBusiness Magazine, at Roma Cafe in Detroit and parked out front. The car created quite a buzz in the restaurant and I fielded a lot of questions. The biggest one was ‘what do you think of the Volt?’

So what do I think, in one sentence, GM has a hit on their hands with the Volt! Its a great car that runs smoothly, has great pick up and has a unique interior that is unlike anything else I’ve seen.

I want to thank TSC Michigan, Inc. for letting me ‘charge up’ at their charging station. TSC is located in Northville and is the North American Headquarters for lithium ion electrolyte research, development and pilot production. Their research helps support the Volt battery. The Department of Energy (DOE) has a great website that lists all commercial charging stations. It was a great help in finding a charging station when I was out and about.
